"…But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones;  I was weary of holding it back, And I could not." Jeremiah 20:9

Pastor Albert Feliciano has been serving the Lord in various ministries almost all of his life.  He was born into the Spanish Pentecostal church and received his spiritual discipleship at a very young age.  He always knew there was a pastoral mantel on his life.  However, he fled from this call like Jonah did with his assignment to Nineveh.  Albert chose instead to pursue his lifelong dream of owning and operating his own business, while being actively involved in music ministry.  His business flourished and afforded him a comfortable lifestyle, but it was not God's perfect will for his life.

God eventually caught up with Albert after the loss of his mother in 2006, and called him into full time ministry along with his loving family.  Albert spent an entire year discipling his children, preparing himself and his family for ministry.  Furthermore, he studied at Omega Bible Institute and Seminary and was Ordained through AEGA - (Association of Evangelical Gospel Assembly) in June of 2009.  Pastor Albert is the founder and Senior Pastor of Soul Purpose Evangelical Church, which started from his dining room table with just a few people.  The home church grew rapidly and then moved into the Middletown Holiday Inn Ballroom.

Pastor Albert has a heart of compassion and also a cheerful spirit.  He is kind, gentle, and very approachable.  He makes it a point to know every person who walks through the doors by name.  One small statement that changed his life goes as follows:  "A pastor should always smell like the sheep."  Jesus was always with the sheep.  He never controlled or dominated them but instead loved them and died for them.  He is the Good Shepherd.  A pastor who serves as overseer of God's flock should also have this love for the sheep.  Without Love, we are nothing!

God Bless You!
